Dr. Rob Methvin graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX with his doctorate in chiropractic in 2004. He also holds 3 bachelors degrees. The first one, Animal Biology (PreMed), was obtained from Louisiana Tech University. The second, in Human Anatomy, was achieved concurrently while working on his doctorate. His most recent degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, came from Hardin Simmons University.
Dr. Rob believes in offering his patients the highest quality of care and continually adds tools to his box of abilities. It is for this reason he decided to begin working toward a Nurse Practitioner license in Octorber of 2008. Upon completion, Dr. Rob will be uniquely positioned in healthcare to offer his patients both wellness care and sickness care.
Dr. Rob has also spent a lot of extra time developing new and better techniques to offer his patients the best chiropractic treatments available. At Parker College he completed a pediatric certification to learn children-specific techniques, as well as chiropractic treatments that help mothers-to-be with various issues. He has been certified in the Webster Technique, which is very effective in helping breech babies get in a more normal position. More recently, Dr. Rob has completed training through the Neuropathy Treatment Centers of America that allows him to successfully treat people who currently suffer from peripheral neuropathy, a condition affecting millions of diabetics and those on long-term medications like statins.
